This trek requires a good level of physical fitness. You should be comfortable hiking for 5-6 hours a day with a backpack, on varied terrain and at high altitudes. Prior trekking experience is beneficial, but not mandatory. We recommend regular cardiovascular exercise and strength training in the months leading up to the trek and expedition.

While both treks are challenging, they are safe when undertaken with a reputable trekking agency and experienced guides. Our itineraries include acclimatization days to minimize the risk of altitude sickness. Our guides are trained in wilderness first aid.

The best seasons are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November). These periods offer the most stable weather conditions, with clear skies and mild temperatures.

We stay in comfortable teahouses/lodges along the route, which provide basic amenities like beds, blankets, and hot meals. Private rooms are available in most locations, but some accommodation is dormitory-style based on group flow during the season.
